Parchment Craft "Crowning Glory"....continued

I'm back again, already!!!  I don't have an expensive, high powered, high definition camera and that's why I've never included good quality close up shots of my work, but the "Crowning Glory" piece brought all that to my mind once again.  The bottom line here is that the same "challenge" was in my face once again and as soon as I posted the first part of this topic, I immediately felt like I was cheating everyone out of how much work there really is, in this particular piece for you to see, because none of you could 'see' it the way I could. 

Sooooooo, since the original post was made a couple of days ago, I've been busy trying many, many things with the tools I do have at hand and.......drumroll, please!!!!!  I "think" I have resolved an issue that has plagued me for a long time......here are two close up views of "Crowning Glory"!!  If anyone still cannot see all the detail work, please, please, please let me know. :))



Hopefully, with these two close up views you can actually see the "pergabroidery" technique I spoke of in the first post....that no one could really see, but me!!! Just a little reminder......if the close ups are still not working, please let me know so I can work a bit more on the solution!!!  Thanks.  :))

    2. Oh Vickie, this piece is just stunning, it would take me a year to finish this. Your work is always so neat and amazing.
      What tool do you use for your very fine lines? I don't think my scriber would allow me to do such fine work. Love Suexx

    3. Thanks very much, Sue, for your kind comment. No, it wouldn't take you a year to finish this piece!! A lot of time, yes, but not a year...lol
      The fine lines (pergabroidery) are made with the size 1 ball embossing tool. They aren't quite as thin as you think they are, but they are thin :) If you wanted a wee bit thicker line you could bump the size of the embossing tool up to the 1.5 and it would still be just fine. I wouldn't advise using a scriber because the paper would definitely break right through after about 6 of the lines had been drawn....and we don't want that to happen, so stick to the finer embossing tools and you should be just fine.
